Food Initiatives
There are a wide range of different local food initiatives that can help to increase access to safe, sustainable and nutritious food and promote well-being in a local area. All projects provide the opportunity to engage directly with communities and develop effective local partnerships. This section features case studies, which include food growing projects, food hygiene awards, cookery groups, box schemes, work with minority groups, and food safety awareness campaigns. Each of these includes information about how and why the project was set up and many also have additional documents that can be downloaded.
